We work in a combined remote and in-person approach. The best of both worlds is available if you are looking for a highly refined system of care that isn’t confined by outdated cookie-cutter approaches often dictated by insurance and generic training.
We will work together in Del Mar, California (face to face), San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and Hilo, Hawaii (both for intensives, retreats and workshops) intermittently when not working virtually. A typical service profile would be three to four virtual appointments, followed by one or two face to face appointments.
We have learned the great value of combined venues and physical separation from the usual routine – this provides atmosphere to decompress and work in a highly authentic and introspective way. We can clear the mundane dust and debris that infiltrates our day, so we can communicate personally and effectively. Our clients see greater, faster and more meaningful outcomes.
Set in the idyllic heart of Del Mar, the Center makes it easy for clients to access services. The Beach lifestyle and “feel” ease and relax us, and it is conducive to authentic therapeutic relationships. Most of our clientele use Del Mar as their base for services because it affords easy freeway access and a wide range of dining, walking and ocean viewing. Here, we are part of the Historic Stratford Square building.
Founded in the early 16th Century, and at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, lies this colorful UNESCO heritage site, where we have established a one-of-a-kind service environment. Nestled among mature trees, parks, kaleidoscope colors and narrow cobblestone streets, the atmosphere is historic, artistic and magical. Known as Casa Sueno de Ave Blanco, after the egrets in residence, we offer a lush, exotic and peaceful space to work.
Around 1100 AD, the first Polynesians discovered this spectacular paradise, and it has been a place of beauty and natural wonderment since. It has become a perfect place for our work because it affords calm and quiet amid truly remarkable flora and fauna. Our clients are drawn back often, and as with San Miguel, many incorporate a few intensive days of treatment with other family and vacation activities.
Throughout the years, we have created several unique and successful group and private practices in Colorado, California, and Hawaii, along with providing retreats and workshops across the country. We have trained, supervised and consulted with many organizations and clinicians to build clinically-informed approaches, and to help them break free from outdated models of practice.
